Please read on. You too could duplicate this success story!!
Dear Friends,
As I have discovered, this situation can literally happen to anyone at any time...."Diagnosis Cancer!!"
Cancer is indiscriminate. Cancer knows no boundaries in the various strata of our society. It doesn`t care much about religion, nor the suburb in which you live. Cancer is seriously `?out there`? for all of us.
After the "bombshell" diagnosis (in March 2003), my brother, Jim, and I considered what both the mainstream and alternative medicine experts had to offer, as well as listening to "just people", and we adopted our own approach to vigorously attacking this insidious disease that had invaded my brother`s body. Neither my brother nor myself were even remotely medically savvy, but with the application of common sense, a willingness to learn and a will to win demonstrated by both my brother as patient and myself as carer led to the total remission of an inoperable and aggressive small cell lung cancer which the surgeon said would probably kill my brother in about two months or so. That was about 10 months before the time of originally writing this as 2004 kicked in, and the written diagnosis by the Oncologist in his notes at the termination of the mainstream treatment, in late August about 4 months before the new year commenced, was a simple "Patient in complete remission!" - or as he put it in his own words to my brother and myself, "This is about as good as it gets, boys!!" There was absolutely no sign of the cancer whatsoever!
In reality,I don`t think anything that we did to combat the disease in our own way could be classed as the least bit brilliant. Our motives were not to take on the system, and yet we did not wish to quietly acquiesce to what the `?system`? oriented doctors told us, nor did we want to believe blindly in what the natural therapists had to offer either. We basically didn`t necessary believe nor disbelieve anyone without thorough research to verify facts and assertions. We found that no one had the total and definitive approach, which was our gut suspicion from very early on. We took on the responsibility of the treatment ourselves, or at least my brave brother the patient did after the various proposed courses of action and treatments over the period of time had been discussed between us at length. My brother decided that if he was going to die, it would only be his fault, and if he lived it would be because of a considered plan of attack for which he was primarily responsible. For him, the only thing worse than dying would be if he let it be someone else`s fault. It`s a great knee jerk reaction in society today to blame someone else and sue for damages. Indeed, we live in a sad, morally bankrupt society in many respects. My brother`s philosophy was that the `end play` result would be because of one body, two minds, and a common sense `?elastic`? plan that was basically aimed at the acquisition of information and using that information to implement various courses of action with specialist treatment from the various experts in the field, as well as what we did ourselves at the `coal face` on a day to day basis.
Part of my job as carer was that I was responsible for getting the information we thought we would need and passing it on, and I must admit that I pursued the information with great vigour. My heart was in fact exploding with a desire to learn like nothing else before. The plan evolved as things marched on. We did not have the benefit of an all embracing personal `?roadmap`? incorporating many ideas to lead to a possible good end result.Nothing to resemble it, in fact. I found nothing like that anywhere in my research. I only found a myriad of `?competing`? information between the various available treatments and the philosophies behind them. Nothing much at all to indicate a `complimentary medicine` approach. Nothing at all to approach the topic on the basis of not letting things slip through the cracks, that is to say, little or no credence being given by the exponent of one form of treatment to the exponents of other methods. It didn`t make sense to me. Countless hours were spent researching and speaking with all sorts of people who either had expertise in one form or another or personal experience on some aspect of the topic, and after a time, and with an overpowering amount of information lying over my desk, in my computer and around my room, I did manage to pull the treads together and make sense of things enough to form the basis of useable information for our plan. Needless to say, the research could not be approached on the basis of having a mild academic interest in an interesting topic at a leisurely pace. This was literally life and death, as small cell cancers, like the one my brother was diagnosed as having, are one of the `wild fires` of the cancer world`?they spread at an enormous pace and suck the life force from the victim just as rapidly in a way that needs to be seen to be believed.
I remember thinking to myself when going through the piles of information with heart in mouth, and what seemed to be gallons of adrenaline constantly in my system, that I wished that there was a basic guide from someone who`d been there, done it, and beaten the disease having considered and perhaps implemented a broad range of the options available. To my mind there wasn`t anything like that at all that I found. It is true that people can invent virtually anything that they really need to invent,if it's important enough. My brother and I needed to save a life, so we invented our own plan as we couldn`t find anything else good enough. It's as simple as that!!
There is nothing that has the capacity to change one`s life so much as a personal experience. That`s what`s happened to me. These days we all seem to know someone who either is or has been affected by cancer, but unless one really gets to live the experience, the effect on one`s psyche often is not all that dramatic. Well, cancer has now affected me and I`m a slightly different person in the way I think now, as opposed to how I thought prior to March 2003. I remember walking through a shopping centre shortly after the diagnosis with my brother and sister, and apart from the fact that my brother had difficulty walking because he could hardly breath because of the tennis ball sized cancer in his lung, we must have presented to all the passers by around us just as three people not in any particularly extraordinary situation. Of course nothing could have been further from the truth. I couldn`t begin to describe my thoughts and how I felt that day, and I wasn`t the one who was told he was probably going to die so imagine what was going through my brother`s mind at the time. So it seems to me these days when I look at people in the many situations in which one looks at people, whether they appear happy, indifferent or sad, that one really never knows what might be afflicting those people at that very moment. They might be in the middle of the worst crisis in their lives, but you just can`t tell by looking. Helping people in need is a basic and common knee jerk reaction in most of us. So to cut a long story short, I decided to put my acquired knowledge on this topic together, in the hope that it is of use to people in need of hope as well as a battle plan in combating this disease.
Cancer of the worst kind is beatable, and I can tell you that from my personal experience. In this 147 page ebook, you will learn every bit of information and trick that I learned, and you won`t have to go through the pain that I went through in acquiring the information and helping put the plan together. This will also give you an incredible head start on things that you should know about cancer from the viewpoint of a `?carer`?, the person standing right next to the person in the firing line. Although I have collaborated with my brother in the writing of this book, if my brother were to put down his thoughts in his own way, they may differ somewhat to mine, or may focus on different aspects. That would only be natural I suppose as he was obviously so subjectively affected. I have tried to be as objective as possible, although I would imagine that emotions and thought patterns stemming from a very traumatic time might creep into what I have to say and how I say it. However, this is my best effort at helping people who may be affected in one way or another by this terrible disease.
Why is this so cheap??...you may ask. The honest truth is that I was originally going to post the information for free, but someone much smarter than me told me that if something valuable is offered for nothing, its often hard to give it away, and even if you can give it away the recipient often doesn`t appreciate the value of what`s been given. However,if someone pays for something, even if it`s a small amount, the purchaser immediately has a different mindset about proprietorship and properly utlilising what has been purchased. So,seeing the wisdom in that proposition,I agreed to charge something. About the price that I decided upon, when my brother went into remission we spoke about him using up another of his nine lives. We are really not sure how many lives he has used up, or how many he has left, but he seriously must have nine lives`?or so we jest. So I thought why not $19.99 (`1` for winning and nine empowered by three) for the book that might help give others the opportunity to utilise all of their nine lives as well, all for the price of what most of us walk around with in our pockets every day to spend on trivia. Very scientific!! Well, not really. Anyway, what I propose to do with funds raised this way is to channel donations into things that can help people afflicted with this disease.Like I said earlier, experiences like this change a person's way of thinking. You will be doing me a huge favour by simply reading the information that I have given in my ebook and putting it to good use.
Cancer Carer.com is not a `business` as such. I designed this website to get vital information out to as many interested people as possible. With all the research that I have done on the internet, one of the things that struck me as being strange was the number of websites which had very useful information to give, however, these websites were tucked away well down in the rankings, and unless I was on a serious mission to discover as much as I could about the topic by researching for literally all my waking hours for a long time, I would not have discovered some of the `hidden gems` out there on the www or elsewhere. I did not want `?The Cancer Carer`? to suffer the same fate. So I found out how to get word of this website out to the world. You can see the names of some organizations who helped me in the `?Support Groups`? section. To be perfectly honest, the concept of doing this did not sit comfortably with me in the beginning. It seemed `?commercial`? and `?tacky`?. But realism overtook my initial thoughts on the subject, and I simply didn`t think that it was fair to do anything other than broadcast this information to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. I wasn`t going to let my old fashioned thoughts on advertising hold this information back from people who deserved to know about it. I trust that you understand my sentiments in this regard, and please don`t mark the site down in your estimations if you, like me, don`t altogether go for the way in which this information might have come to your attention.
In a couple of short minutes, you could be downloading my ebook and getting going on acquiring information that I believe is vital for people in the situation that I found myself in not so long ago. Apart from anything else, the ebook is designed to give you hope, as one of the first things that I discovered in this experience was that hope is often one of the first things that many doctors remove from their patients. The shattering of a person`s hope is the worst thing that can be done in this situation. People can literally go into shock and not ever recover from the trauma of hearing someone, with a perception of superior knowledge than them, say words like `?You will almost certainly die from this cancer in about two months`?.Believe me when I tell you that I know exactly the effect that this might have on a person from my own experience. My book will help get this sort of unconsidered statement into perspective`?and there is much, much more.
